Session 1 - Demonstrating the impact of sport for peace within communities
Programs using sport for peace have a visible impact on the communities and regions in which they operate. Their impacts must be assessed quantitatively and qualitatively in order to strengthen the confidence of public and private investors. Through this session, a panel of experts composed of researchers, funders and program implementers will highlight the challenges and best practices related to evaluating the impact of sport-for-peace programs at the community level.

Session 2 - Sport as a vehicle for gender equity

Session 5 - The role of sport in building sustainable peace
The experience of programs based on sport as a tool for peace bears witness to sport’s ability to prevent conflicts, to restore relationships of trust within communities and to reinstate social relations in the aftermath of armed conflicts. Through concrete examples, this session will illustrate the role of sport in building inclusive communities and peaceful relations between nations.

Session 8 - From local to global, the prerequisites for scaling up
Expanding the reach of programs is a critical issue for project managers and fund donors. This specialized masterclass will share data and recommendations about the challenges related to developing pilot programs in order to expand the structures in line with the realities on the ground. UNESCO's recommendations in a video intervention by Gabriela Ramos, UNESCO Assistant Director General for Social and Human Sciences.

Session 9 - Investing in peace through sport for tomorrow's world
Any individual wishing to implement a relevant policy of social responsibility with their clients, employees or partners will find peace through sport a potential strategic axis of investment. This round table will give the floor to companies and athletic foundations who have decided to get involved by supporting real programs. It will highlight public/private mechanisms, the objectives of these investments and the challenges encountered when setting up these initiatives.
