Philippe Rio is the current mayor of Grigny in France, and President of the AFCDRP-Maires pour la Paix. In 2021, Philippe Rio was named "best mayor in the world" by the London-based City Mayors Foundation, in recognition of his fight against poverty and social exclusion in his municipality.
